North Lynbrook is an unincorporated Nassau County neighborhood and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Hempstead on Long Island, New York. It lies between the villages of Malverne and Lynbrook respectively to the north and south and shares the 11563 ZIP code with the latter.

The North Lynbrook CDP was first created for the United States Census of 2000. The tiny community had a geographical area of a mere .09 square miles in the 2020 US Census and was the second smallest CDP not only in Nassau County but also among the 194 CDPs on Long Island, next to Saddle Rock Estates in the Town of North Hempstead, another township in Nassau County.

Located approximately 18 miles southeast of Manhattan in New York City, North Lynbrook is known for its quiet and desirable residential neighborhoods, which are largely composed of single-family homes. It also has an Assisted Living and Memory Care Community called Sunrise of North Lynbrook. In addition to the established neighborhoods, there are also a number of undeveloped vacant lots available for development.

Besides the Assisted Living Community, possibly the only other commercially zoned segment of North Lynbrook is in the southeast corner, which offers grocery and convenience stores among other local shops.

North Lynbrook’s convenient location and close proximity to Manhattan make it a popular choice for those looking to live in a more suburban setting while still having easy access to the amenities and opportunities of the city.
