The hamlet of Noyack is in the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, on the South Fork of Long Island’s East End. Local Area Information

Noyack is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Southampton on the South Fork of Long Island, New York’s renowned East End in Suffolk County. It shares land borders with the village of Sag Harbor and Bridgehampton on the east, Water Mill on the south and North Sea on the west, while an isthmus connects it to the hamlet of North Haven to the northeast. The lovely Little Peconic and Noyack Bays overlap its northern coast.

Noyack is one of the neighborhoods in the fancy summer tourism destination known as the Hamptons, where wealthy individuals and families keep impressive beach houses and summer homes. This community, though, along with others along the Peconic bays is sleepier compared to other Hampton areas that line the Atlantic Ocean.

Noyack contains lots of hills, wooded areas and residential zones with mostly single-family homes that range from 1- to 4-bedroom homes or larger, more particularly the luxury houses. The housing stock also includes waterfront homes, new constructions, rental properties and dwellings with first-floor bedrooms and other features. All neighborhoods use the 11963 ZIP code.

The area retains a quiet atmosphere partly because there is no proper town center, though Noyack Road has a small cluster of various businesses, such as a farmers’ market and a posh waterfront seafood restaurant with a nautical theme and magnificent bay views. For access to more shops and restaurants, locals are just minutes away from the lively, walkable downtown of the neighboring village of Sag Harbor, NY.

For recreation, Noyack offers a marvelous wildlife preserve, a picturesque pond park, numerous nature trails, sweeping golf courses, sandy bay beaches and the Northampton Colony Yacht Club. One of the hamlet’s notable beach houses is an 1892 Victorian-style, Queen Anne home known as the William Cauldwell House, which is in the National Register of Historic Places and is now a Southampton Town historic landmark.
