Flying Point Beach is a popular public beach in Water Mill and is the community’s main beach. This Southampton Town facility is lifeguard protected during the summer months, and allows pets except from April 1 through October 1. Nighttime beach barbecues are allowed by permit, as is drive-on access for those with a 4×4 beach driving permit.

Nova’s Ark Project Sculpture Park and Art Center is most notable for the majestic outdoor sculptures that sit on the park grounds. It has a number of other features, such as an equestrian ranch, the Castle Barn, and Elliptical House, a well-known Hamptons landmark.

The Water Mill Community Club offers an array of social events and recreational facilities for lease or use of its members.
